Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of OwePilot. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use OwePilot.

The service

OwePilot helps users track invoices and automate payment follow-up messages. OwePilot is not accounting, legal, tax, collections, or financial advice, and it is not a debt collection agency. You remain responsible for your invoices, customer relationships, records, payment terms, and compliance obligations.

Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and activity performed through your account. You must promptly notify OwePilot if you believe your account has been compromised.

Customer data and reminders

You represent that you have the right to provide customer contact and invoice information to OwePilot and to request the reminders you configure. You are responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, timing, and appropriateness of communications sent on your behalf. You must not use OwePilot to send unlawful, deceptive, abusive, harassing, or unsolicited messages.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid access is offered as a recurring subscription at the price shown during checkout. If a free trial is offered, the trial terms shown at signup apply. Unless canceled, a subscription renews automatically according to the billing interval shown at checkout. You may manage or cancel your subscription through the OwePilot billing portal. A cancellation scheduled for the end of a billing or trial period leaves access available through the applicable end date.

Payment processing is provided by Stripe. Failed payments may result in retries, a limited grace period, restricted access, or cancellation of the subscription.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, use it to violate applicable law or another person's rights, send spam, distribute malicious content, or use automated means to overload or probe the service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep OwePilot available and reliable, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Features may be changed, added, limited, or discontinued as the product evolves.

Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, OwePilot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or any particular collection or payment outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, OwePilot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, data, or goodwill arising from use of the service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for OwePilot during the six months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, respond to unlawful or abusive use, address nonpayment, or comply with legal obligations. You may stop using OwePilot at any time and may cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as OwePilot changes. Material revisions will be reflected by updating the effective date and, when appropriate, providing additional notice.
