Overview

OwePilot is an online service that helps users track unpaid invoices and send payment reminders. This Privacy Policy explains what information OwePilot collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create and use an account, including your email address and account credentials. When you use OwePilot, you may provide invoice and customer information such as customer names, customer email addresses, invoice numbers, amounts, due dates, payment links, reminder settings, and reminder history.

We may also receive technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request, device, browser, and diagnostic information.

Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. OwePilot does not store your full payment card number. Stripe may collect and process payment and billing information under its own privacy terms.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure OwePilot, authenticate accounts, maintain invoice records, schedule and send requested reminders, process subscriptions, provide customer support, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

Service providers

OwePilot relies on service providers to operate the product, including infrastructure, database and authentication, payment processing, and transactional email providers. Information is shared with these providers only as reasonably necessary to provide those functions.

Your customers' information

If you enter information about your customers, you are responsible for having an appropriate basis to use that information and to send payment reminders to them. OwePilot processes that information to provide the features you request.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may update or delete invoice information through the service. You may cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal. For privacy questions or requests concerning your account data, email support@owepilot.com.

Children

OwePilot is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
